Group demerger – focus on contracts

In the process of separating from its parent group, this financial services provider wanted to ensure its future independence. To ensure the contractual security required, contracts were systematically reviewed, the need for amendments established, and any necessary supplementary contracts concluded.

Organisational restructuring

For the purposes of creating sustainable added value, and with due regard to corporate and departmental aims, the purchasing function of this financial services provider needed to be adapted to changed external circumstances. Following the design and development of several possible solutions, and the selection of the most suitable one, the new organisational model was put into practice and – with the buy-in of the employees' council – cascaded down through the workforce.

Strategy workshop for managers

As a result of restructuring of the purchasing function, changes were made to the management team and new areas of responsibility created. In order to develop a shared understanding of aims and strategies, STÖHR FAKTOR conducted a strategy workshop that involved the development of guiding principles for the central purchasing function.

Structuring of procedures and processes

In order to raise employee satisfaction in this group's purchasing division, standards were laid down for the structuring of procedures and internal communication. Purchasing processes could then be reduced and designed to be more efficient.

Optimising purchasing controlling and reporting

As part of a purchasing development programme, transparency was created in control and reporting in purchasing and focussed on KPIs and essential reports. Evidence was increased through targeted reporting and departmental reporting of essential control volumes.
