Implementation of supplier management

A German financial services provider's supplier portfolio needed to be restructured and optimised. For this purpose, STÖHR FAKTOR designed and implemented an integrated supplier management system and supported its application using workshops with the supplier managers.

Introduction of customer management

The aim for this German financial services provider was to improve relations between purchasing department and its internal clients. The solution was the design and implementation of an internal client management system with clearly structured communication processes and tools as well as lines of accountability.

Introduction of a purchasing control tool

This large financial services company wanted to replace its usual 'spend analysis' with a purchasing control system. Following the creation of a functional specification and the identification of external suppliers, an appropriate purchasing control tool was selected and implemented for the management, coordination and support of the purchasing function.

Group demerger – focus on contracts

In the process of separating from its parent group, this financial services provider wanted to ensure its future independence. To ensure the contractual security required, contracts were systematically reviewed, the need for amendments established, and any necessary supplementary contracts concluded.

Organisational restructuring

For the purposes of creating sustainable added value, and with due regard to corporate and departmental aims, the purchasing function of this financial services provider needed to be adapted to changed external circumstances. Following the design and development of several possible solutions, and the selection of the most suitable one, the new organisational model was put into practice and – with the buy-in of the employees' council – cascaded down through the workforce.
